Writhing Will

Why you’re writhing will,

Mate your youthful wings,

Through younger sway,

Would think there you,

Writher yet.

Sincerely, Lena M. Fuller

Hi Janers - Welcome to World Poetry, and thank you for your comment.  I went to my daughter's MySpace site and she had a word board...I grabbed a handful of words and "Writhering Will" came from those words...I just liked the way it sounded...as to your comment No point in writhering...I'd say its all in the timing, a writher or two can be a good thing :) ...don't you think?  But, I understand your comment...writhering is usually used as a negative:to feel a strong emotion, especially embarrassment or shame, and experience internal stress as a result of it.  Or, it can mean: to move in a twisting squirming way, or cause the body to move in this way ~Encarta Dictionary.

But I leave it to whichever meaning that the reader would like to apply. I look forward to reading your poems...I love Hummingbird Ass, especially the way your Mom had put it to use;“Don’t let your humming bird ass get

Your alligator mouth in trouble”....I love it!

Sincerely, Lena M. Fuller
